GATE MOTORS-SLIDING GATES

GATE MOTORS-SLIDING GATES

If you have a sliding gate- then you need a slide gate motor. This will open your gate at the press of a button. A single motor is required for this type of application, the motor is installed behind the wall and connected to your electrical supply by means of an underground or surface run cable.

GATE MOTORS-SWING GATES

GATE MOTORS-SWING GATES

If you have double swing gates- then you will need swing gate motors- These are two motors, attached to each leaf of the gate working in tandem-a master motor and a slave motor. They are linked to your electricity supply. If you have a single leaf swing gate then only one motor is required. It would need to be a heavy duty motor to cope with the weight of the gate.

GARAGE DOOR MOTORS

GARAGE DOOR MOTORS

There are different types and styles of garage door. Tip up- a solid door that tips up on arms. Sectional- panels which roll up along runners. Roll-up- the door rolls up into a “sausage” above the door. There are different types of motors for each door. The motor will open the garage door at the push of a button.

REMOTE CONTROLS

REMOTE CONTROLS

We use a rolling code remote control system. The remote controls works in conjunction with a receiver which is connected to either the gate motor, garage door motor, or alarm. When you press a pre-coded button on the remote control the receiver responds by opening the gate/ garage or setting your alarm. This is the SABS and Insurance Institute accepted system. It changes the code of the receiver every time you press the remote control button making it impossible to copy.

ALARMS

ALARMS

These are custom put together kits including an alarm panel (Brain), Passive infra red detectors, a key pad for arming and disarming, a radio receiver to alert an armed response company, a siren to sound an alarm, and outdoor motion detectors. They can be made as large and complex as required or as small and user friendly as possible.

INTERCOMS

INTERCOMS

Intercom systems have an outside station at the gate and a monitor or handset inside the house. The intercom is like a “door bell” which allows you to communicate with your visitor before pressing a button to allow access. There are different models of intercom including a basic one button outside station to one handset, up to colour monitors and several button outside stations which allows different areas of a property to be called. The outside station can be mounted on an exterior wall or on a gooseneck so a car can drive up to the intercom and ring the bell.

ELECTRIC FENCING

ELECTRIC FENCING

Electric fencing is mounted on a perimeter wall or fence. It makes it more difficult for a burglar to climb over the wall. The fence is connected to  an energizer (Power source) which sends an electrical pulse through the fence at a regular interval. Should someone attempt to get over the fence they would receive a large shock of approx. 8000 Jules which is guaranteed to stop even the most hardened criminal.

CCTV
